New Eden Grand Prix II April 30th 20:00

Declarations of War presents the New Eden Grand Prix Sat. April 30th at 20:00

The NEGP returns once again! Like last year, this will be a T1 frigate race that puts the piloting skill of the racers to the test! Participants will be pitted against each other in a harrowing several thousand km sub-warp course filled with obstacles and skill challenges to push their manual piloting and timing to the limit.

This is EVE so naturally the environment isn’t the only danger; racers will also have to watch their back because this race is live fire!

If you want a preview, check out last year’s race!

HOW DO YOU ENTER? EXCELLENT QUESTION!

The event will be held in a WH so the highsec entry system will be announced the day of the event. Fully fit race ships will be provided at the event so all you have to do is turn up in a pod or shuttle and follow instructions from race organizers to join in.

The entire event will be streamed at www.twitch.tv/alekseyevkarrde with commentary from the Declarations of War cast!

Join in-game channel New Eden Grand Prix, watch this post, and keep tuned in to Declarations of War for more updates.

2nd Place: 2 PLEX and your choice of Daredevil or Dramiel

DoW Ballot for CSM XI

GO VOTE! VOTE! VOTE OR DIE MOTHERF*****!

  1. Steve Ronuken: One of the best reps of recent CSMs, he’s definitely earned his reelection and will be a major asset to the fresh faces coming in
  2. Kyle Aparthos: A consensus builder who’s willing to pick fights when need be. Love it. I also think he puts the more aspirational parts of EVE and sov at the forefront when thinking about those topics which is super important.
  3. Toxic Yaken: The PVP side of highsec needs representation, and I think Toxic is the best fit to do that this year.
  4. Commander Aze: I don’t agree with all of his views, particularly on war decs, but I don’t there’s any doubt he is passionate about the CSM, understands their responsibilities, and will but everything he has behind making the council work.
  5. Nash Kadavr: Super passionate about EVE and knows the player gathering scene. With EVE’s RL meetups becoming ever more important, it’s good to have them represented on the CSM.

——In No Particular Order——

  • Diana Olympos
  • Utari Onzo
  • Apothne
  • Jin’taan
  • The Judge

You get to pick 14 candidates and EVERY vote counts. If you vote for the folks on this list, be assured your future is in good hands 😉 But even if you don’t the most important thing is to vote, get your corp mates to vote, get your fleet to vote. Let’s do this!

Meta Information in EVE Online

Videos from fanfest are starting to hit CCP’s Youtube channel, including my brief look at how the data we interact with every day turns into the meta information we use at a deeper level. So deep, right. Find it here or embedded below.
CCP did a great job editing and the slideshow is well-shown throughout the video. Thanks for listening (and watching now too apparently) and we’ll be back Sunday night.

Declarations of Down Under Zebras

As promised, our post-FF, boundary-shattering podcast (reposted from Crossing Zebras):

“There were a lot of podcasters and personalities at Fanfest 2015 so Xander did his best to grab a few of them to sit down and talk about the event immediately after the Closing Keynote. Joining Xander was Niden and OhTakashawa from CZ, Bam Stroker and Otto Bismarck from Eve Down Under and NinjaTurtle from Declarations of War.

And there’s a very special hotdrop from CCP right before the end!”

Again, many thanks to Xander for making this happen and all these awesome other guys for hanging out.
